The content of the website is Setapp’s ownership protected by copyrights. A data controller of the data provided by the users is Setapp Sp. z o.o. (hereinafter referred to as “Setapp”) with the registered office in the Republic of Poland in Poznań (60-792), Wojskowa 6, entered in the register kept by the District Court for Poznań Nowe Miasto and Wilda, 8th Economic Department of the National Court Register (KRS) under the KRS number 0000334616, holding a tax ID no. PL7781465185 and a statistical ID no. REGON 301183743.

Setapp is a software development company that provides bespoke software solutions for its clients. This Privacy and Cookies Policy is for Setapp website: setapp.pl served by Setapp. Any references herein to “user” shall be deemed to mean any person visiting Setapp’s website. Each user by accessing this website agree to be bound by these Privacy and Cookies Policy.

This Privacy and Cookies Policy has been developed to provide users with information about the data collected by Setapp and the manner of their use. Setapp provides users with full protection of the entrusted personal data.

We act in an ethical manner and therefore respect the right to protect the personal data of our clients, employees, contractors and partners. Therefore, we would like to present to you the most important rules governing the protection of personal data in our Company.

Pursuant to Article 13 and Article 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) we would like to inform you that the Controller of your personal data is Setapp Sp. z o. o.

Prior to personal data processing we each time identify the purpose, legal basis for processing and determine data retention period. Your personal data is usually processed:

for the purposes of the implementation of the contract which binds you with Setapp, or the activities necessary for the conclusion of such contract (Article 6(1)(b));
due to the legal requirements with which the Controller is obliged to comply (Article 6 (1)(c)).
for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or a third party (Article 6(1)(f);
based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Each time we make every effort to ensure that you are informed about the purpose of personal data processing, the legal basis of this processing, data retention period and all other information required by the GDPR as part of the obligation to provide information.

Data Protection Regulations for clients

The General Data Protection Regulation hereinafter referred to as the GDPR has been in force in Poland since 25 May 2018. Therefore, we would like to present to you the information regarding the protection and processing of your personal data.

Who is the Controller of your personal data?

The Controller of your personal data is Setapp Sp. z o.o. [hereinafter referred to as Setapp] with its registered office at ul. Wojskowa 6, 60-792 Poznań.

Who can you contact with respect to personal data processing?

In all matters related to the protection and processing of personal data, you can contact the Data Controller. Contact: hello@setapp.pl.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process your personal data?

Your personal data will be processed by Setapp for the performance of the contract that binds us or for the purpose of concluding such a contract (legal basis for processing: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Purposes of processing and retention period:

- conclusion of a contract and issuance and storage of invoices and accounting documents (retention: 6 years).

Your personal data will be processed by Setapp for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller (legal basis for processing: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Purposes of processing and retention period:

- possible debt collection (retention: 6 years from the end of the debt collection process);

- implementation of the contract (retention: 3 years after the end of the contract).

Your personal data may be processed by Setapp based on the consent that you have given (legal basis for processing: Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

Purpose of processing and retention period:

- organisation of events and marketing activities (retention: until the purpose of processing has ceased to exist or the consent has been withdrawn).

Who is your personal data transferred to?

Due to the need to ensure the correct operation of Setapp and to ensure compliance with the law, your personal data may be transferred to:

- IT systems and services providers;

- advisory and consulting firms and law firms;

- accounting firms;

- Setapp associates (B2B contracts);

- data hosting providers;

and other authorised entities upon a reasoned request, e.g. police, prosecutor's office, court, etc.

What are your rights with respect to your personal data?

You have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction of processing and withdrawal of your consent to data processing. We would also like to inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the authority supervising compliance with data protection regulations.

Is my data transferred outside the EEA?

No. Setapp does not send your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

Is my data used for profiling?

No. Personal profiling does not occur on the basis of the personal data provided by you.

Is the provision of personal data necessary?

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the conclusion of a contract with Setapp; if you do not provide the data, you will not be able to cooperate with Setapp.

Cookies Policy

Setapp website uses cookies to improve users experience. Cookies are data files stored on users devices by a website. Many browsers are set to accept cookies out of the box but users can remove and reject cookies from their browser settings. If user remove or reject the cookies it could affect how the website works.

During the use of the website Setapp collects the following data, among others: information regarding the device and logging (system logs) containing a visit date, time, operating system details, operating system type, browser type, browser language and other data identifying the device used by the user, how long user spent on a website, access times, internet protocols address and information about users actions on the website.
